Outback Power Systems

The Outback FX2000 is a 2kW continuous rated modular "building" block sine wave inverter/charger which can be used both for small and large power systems. Each system -DC to AC inverter, battery charger and AC transfer switch. Additional inverter/chargers can be connected at any time in either parallel or three-phase configurations, allowing the system to be customized to the specific power conversion requirements of the application, both at the time of the installation and in the future. Up to eight FX2000s can be connected together to provide up to 16 kW of continuous power conversion capacity.

The Outback FX2000 is designed to survive harsh environments anywhere in the world. Our unique sealed, gasketed die-cast aluminum chassis protects and keeps the power conversion components cool- without requiring outside air to blown through the sensitive electronics.

Trace Series

Solar UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Systems convert DC power from a battery bank to 220 Volt 50Hz AC (standard household) power. This allows you to operate appliances such as: VCRs, TVs, radios, water pumps, faxes, copiers, and computers during grid power outages. In case of grid failure, the UPS system takes over the load instantly. When integrated with an autonomous renewable energy system (solar, wind, etc.), it allows these appliances to be used in remote locations far from the electricity grid. The Solar UPS uses the world’s most advanced Trace Engineering solar power converters which can sell excess solar power back to the Electric Authority. It can also automatically start an emergency backup generator if the solar power is insufficient. Trace units come in a variety of models and can also be used in hybrid applications such as wind, solar, mains and hydro.
