Lotus Energy is the pioneer of
manufacturing analog and microprocessor based battery chargers in Nepal.
EVCO is the
sister company of Lotus Energy. Lotus Energy manufactures electric vehicle
battery chargers and also provides technical design assistance for
electric vehicle manufacturing. The Company "EVCO" was formed to design/assemble/manufacture/sell and support the
infrastructure of non-polluting and environmental friendly ELECTRIC
VEHICLES (EV), both three and four wheeler types in Kathmandu, Nepal and
for overseas export.

Features:
Digital meter and system status display, shows charging current battery
volt temperature and cumulative AH in large easy-to-read bright display
Fully automatic "Four Stage" charging plus "Charge
Termination" as recommended by the manufacturers
Temperature protection and charging compensation system with remote sensor
Charges at half power over 50 degrees C, shuts off at over 55 degrees C,
waits for cool down, will not charge under 2 degrees C (possible frozen electrolytes)
Voltage set points change as per battery temperature calculation
Data logger (built-in) can be connected to any PC or serial printer to
record battery voltage, charging current, battery temperature and AH charged,
outputs in spreadsheet format for easy to
plot charge curves and usage history report
Fully automatic voltage and current control using computer algorithm
Protection against accidentally
charging wrong battery pack voltage or reverse connection - charging will not start
Manual equalize switch for regular battery maintenance
Robust steel housing with reinforcement
Steel wheels for easy transportation
